Peacebuilding and
Community Empowerment Program

The Peacebuilding and Community Empowerment Program

is one of the core programs of Rawafed Al-Khabour Association. The program works to strengthen social cohesion, promote a culture of dialogue, and support peaceful coexistence among diverse communities by engaging individuals, local institutions, and community leaders in initiatives that foster trust, cooperation, and shared responsibility.

The program focuses on empowering local communities—particularly youth, women, and community leaders—through capacity-building activities, community dialogues, local initiatives, cultural and sports activities, and awareness campaigns that contribute to reducing hate speech, promoting citizenship values, respecting diversity, and encouraging the peaceful resolution of conflicts.

It also seeks to enhance meaningful community participation and strengthen partnerships between civil society organizations, local authorities, and other stakeholders, contributing to the development of more resilient, inclusive, and peaceful communities capable of addressing challenges and advancing sustainable development.
